What is FPH2 Screwdriver Bit?

The FPH2 bit is a specially designed Phillips (cross-slot) screwdriver bit tailored specifically for professional electricians. It is primarily used for the installation and maintenance of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) and other electrical components. Unlike standard PH2 bits, the FPH2 features an enhanced “11-point” anti-slip design that offers superior grip and torque transfer when working with electrical screw heads—especially those found in air switch (MCB) assemblies. This unique design helps prevent slipping and damage to screw slots, which is a common issue with traditional Phillips bits.

application

This bit is widely used for mounting and dismounting circuit breakers, as well as installing socket panels, switches, and distribution boxes. It is ideal for high-precision electrical work and is compatible with both manual screwdrivers and power tools such as electric screwdrivers and drills. The FPH2 bit improves efficiency and safety, particularly in narrow or hard-to-reach spaces, thanks to its strong built-in magnet that securely holds screws in place.

Made from high-quality alloy steel or S2 tool steel, the FPH2 bit ensures excellent hardness, wear resistance, and long service life. It is available in common lengths of 65mm, 110mm, and 150mm, with a standard diameter of 5.5mm for the FPH2 size. Compared to a standard PH2 bit, the FPH2’s anti-slip “11-point” design significantly reduces the risk of cam-out and screw damage. It is specifically optimized for the narrower or shallower slots of electrical fasteners used in air switches and other electrical equipment.

Whether used with manual bit handles, cordless drills, or magnetized bit holders, the FPH2 bit is designed to make electrical fastening tasks safer, faster, and more reliable. It is ideal not only for professional electricians but also for switchgear manufacturers, panel builders, and advanced DIY enthusiasts who demand precision and quality.
